Humanitarian Leadership
Establishment of Non-Profit: Founded GotYour6Intl during the early stages of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, focusing on delivering essential protective gear and medical supplies to frontline aid workers. Mobilized resources quickly to address critical needs, establishing a robust network of support in challenging conditions.
Mission Execution: Led three critical missions delivering life-saving equipment and support to doctors, EMS, and other aid workers in Ukraine. Successfully coordinated complex logistics, including the transport of police body armor and medical supplies from the U.S. to various cities under attack in Ukraine, often operating under the threat of missile strikes and air raids.
Public Relations & Media Engagement
Global Awareness Campaign: Directed a comprehensive public relations campaign to raise global awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, effectively communicating the organization's mission through strategic media engagement. Secured significant media coverage, including print and television features, to amplify the impact of the organization’s efforts.
Personalized Support Campaign: Coordinated the gathering of life-saving supplies, including SWAT-level body armor, with custom GotYour6Intl patches and handwritten messages of support. These were delivered directly to aid workers, fostering a personal connection between American sponsors and Ukrainian recipients.
Social Media Strategy: Spearheaded a comprehensive social media strategy that highlighted the collaborative efforts of police agencies, international partners, and individual donors. This strategy significantly enhanced the visibility and support for the mission across multiple platforms.
Operational Leadership
Logistics Management in Conflict Zones: Managed the planning and execution of complex logistics operations to deliver critical supplies in active war zones. Coordinated with local Ukrainian officials, humanitarian groups, and government agencies to ensure safe delivery despite ongoing military operations.
International Collaboration: Established and maintained partnerships with organizations in the U.S., Netherlands, Ukraine, and Poland, facilitating seamless cooperation and effective aid distribution. Worked closely with local governments and international NGOs to navigate complex legal and logistical challenges.
Government Liaison & Compliance
Regulatory Compliance: Collaborated with U.S. federal agencies, including the FBI Counter-Terrorism Task Force, to ensure full compliance with laws governing the transportation of sensitive equipment. Successfully navigated international regulations to transport and deliver critical supplies to Ukraine.
Local Government Engagement: Engaged with multiple local governments in Texas to secure necessary police gear for the mission. Worked directly with Police Chiefs, City Managers, and City Councils to obtain permissions and coordinate the donation of equipment.
Fundraising & Community Engagement
Fundraising Campaigns: Led multiple fundraising events, including those in collaboration with local businesses, to generate support and resources for the mission. Utilized a combination of large print media, digital stories, and social media ads to engage supporters and raise awareness.
Community Involvement: Fostered a strong network of volunteers and supporters both locally and internationally. Engaged with the community through public speaking events, media interviews, and social media updates, building a broad base of support for the organization’s initiatives.
Recognition & Impact
Awards & Honors: Received the 2022 Northeast Tarrant Chamber Hometown Hero award, along with letters of commendation from U.S. Congress members, state senators, and representatives for the impactful work done through GotYour6Intl.
Mission Success: Delivered critical aid during the earliest and most challenging stages of the invasion, directly contributing to the safety and effectiveness of frontline aid workers in Ukraine. The organization’s efforts were recognized for making a significant difference in the lives of those on the frontlines.
